5 years ago, the idea of make a website that compile and share our old electronic music vinyl records born called Vinilos Rip.

The great mayority of them discontinued and forgotten in the time, converted to MP3 that they can be listened again by the network.

The users who visited to us could send his vinyl disc in MP3 to add them to the Vinyl Archive.

The process was slow due to the little popularity of the little popularity of the page and the expensive design of the site, renewed every year, as well as the expenses of hosting and streaming…

Before being left, arises the idea to create one application for iPod Touch and iPhone and to rebirth one more year the proyect at least, this time more popular thank´s to Cydia because the App Store never admit it and consequently it need to change its name to VinylTunes.

5 años atras, nace la idea de crear un sitio web que recopilara y compartiera musica electronica de nuestros viejos discos de vinilo llamada Vinilos Rip.

La gran mayoria de ellos descatalogados y olvidados en el tiempo, convertidos en MP3 para poder ser vueltos a escuchar a traves de la red.

Los usuarios que nos visitaban podian enviarnos sus discos de vinilo en MP3 para añadirlos al Archivo de Vinilos.

El proceso era lento debido a la poca popularidad de la pagina y el costoso diseño del sitio, renovado cada año, asi como los gastos de alojamiento y reproduccion…

Antes de ser abandonado, surgio la idea de crear una aplicacion para iPod Touch e iPhone y revivir un año mas el proyecto, esta vez, mas popular gracias a Cydia, ya que la App Store nunca lo admitiria y como consecuencia necesitaba cambiar su nombre a VinylTunes.
